Junk Hunk History

University student Omar Soliman and his buddies from high school set out to earn extra money for summer vacation by starting COLLEGE HUNKS HAULING JUNK^® . Omar's mother owned a furniture store, and she loaned him the store's beat-up cargo van so he could operate his new business. During his senior year of college, Omar entered his business plan into the Rothschild Entrepreneurship Competition. Out of nearly 150 entries, Omar's entry won first prize and $10,000.

Upon graduating from college, Omar met up with his old high school classmate, Nick Friedman. Nick and Omar were both entering the corporate world, but their entrepreneurial spirit was magnetic. Having hauled junk together during that initial summer, they began discussing the possibility of operating COLLEGE HUNKS HAULING JUNK^® on a year-round basis.

Leaving their corporate jobs after just a few months, Nick and Omar decided to streamline the system they had created and implement the business plan on a full scale. They invested every penny they had earned, and began hiring area college and university students to help grow COLLEGE HUNKS HAULING JUNK^®, America's Junk Removal Specialists.

Since its inception, COLLEGE HUNKS HAULING JUNK^® has experienced significant growth throughout the United States and has garnered the attention of major media outlets. The company has been featured on Oprah.com, and has been showered with praise for its community involvement. The bright orange and green trucks elicit smiles, double takes, and cheers whenever they drive by.
